Update: The problems with Xbox Video and Xbox Music appear to be cleared up now.
Original Story: If you were looking forward to a relaxing Christmas Eve soaking up some entertainment via your Xbox One, you may be experiencing some difficulties. According to Microsoft's Xbox Live status page, the service is currently experiencing outages for both the Xbox Music Store and the Xbox Video Store on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and "other devices."
In addition to the above services, a few apps, such as IGN and MLG, appear to be experiencing problems loading content as well.
In a statement on the Xbox Live status page, Microsoft says it is currently investigating the issues:
Are you having a hard time viewing certain content in Xbox Music and Video, such as the Explore and Radio features? We're working to get this figured out ASAP! Thanks for your patience. We'll update you as soon as we know more.
It isn't yet clear what has caused the outages, but hopefully they will be cleared up quickly. If you've experienced an interruption in service, you can periodically check for updates from Microsoft at the source link below.
