While Microsoft no doubt wants each and every one of us to upgrade to Windows 10 and stay there, in practice we all need a way back. We do of course have that, but at the WinHEC conference out in Shenzhen, China, Microsoft has shown off a super easy way to uninstall Windows 10 and roll back to whatever you had before.
During the presentation which was being delivered to show the attendees details around upgrading to Windows 10, under the "Update and Recovery" tab in settings is a new option to go back to a previous version of Windows. Right alongside the other recovery options we've already seen in the technical preview.
It's not new that we might be able to do this, but it is new that Microsoft looks to be pulling it out and moving it to a much more direct access method. Hopefully we won't want to use it, but you never know.
